Fujiko F Fujio Museum Countdown Past Photos

Fujiko F  Fujio (1933-1996) was one half of the "Fujiko Fujio" manga artist duo (the other half is known as "Fujiko A") that created the "Doraemon" series.  They eventually split up in the 1980's, with Fujiko F continuing on with "Doraemon" as well as a number of his own solo creations.  A recent decision was made to build a museum dedicated to Fujiko F about 1 mile east of Noborito, in the Kawasaki area.  For some reason, the "Countdown to the Museum Opening" ceremony was held in the Noborito train station, and the countdown board is usually displayed on the second floor of the station, just outside the Nambu line gates.  Because Doraemon's official birthday is Sept. 3, 2112, the ceremony was held on Sept. 3, 2010, and the planned opening of the museum is Sept. 3, 2011.  I'm running the photos of the construction progress here simply because I live so close to the location (3 miles) and I want to do something with them after I take them.

I apologize for the lack of image detail.  It's hard to get good shots because I'm at street level, there's no way to get above the security fence to shoot down into the site, and the stupid fence is in the way.
