Volume 2 Summary

Chapter 5 Youkihi Muunsaruto (parts 1 - 3)
Youki Princess Moonsault

One of the rabbit people, rescued from the evil Spect Master by Captured, tells the heroes of the nasty Princess Moonsault and how she is always sending minions to try to take their treasure away. She has three demons at her command that are undefeatable. Camel claims to have been in Moonsault's court when the Princess issued death edicts to three handmaidens (one for screwing up her manicure, another for breaking a glass, and the third for choosing to wear a new hairstyle.) Cap is unconvinced, so Camel appeals to Manji. Given the choice between protecting his son and trying to obtain a valuable pearl, Manji decides to hit Camel with a tranq dart and then tell Cap to go out there and attack the Princess.

Moonsault has been told to kill Cap, and feels that it will be easy since his Specter is only Level 7 (G is the 7th letter in the alphabet.) Later, while she is sleeping, Moonsault is visited by a giant that wants to attack the rabbit village on Moonsault's behalf to get their treasure -- the "Dragon Pearl" (which is probably a play on "Dragon Ball".) But first, the giant wants a taste of Moonsault's body. For this rudeness, the Princess unleashes her Youki. The giant's body hits the ground outside as Captured is walking up to the castle. Camel wakes up, and Manji claims that he'd tried everything he could to stop Cap from attacking Moonsault, but Camel discovers the blowgun and tranq dart.

Moonsault's three Youki turn out to be: 1) a demon snake that can fly anywhere quickly; 2) a huge demon turtle that flies around and smashes stuff (ala Gamera); and 3) a giant male demon that has a laser cannon in its mouth. The Youki attack, with the snake turning very thin and tying Cap to a rock so that the turtle can smash into him and crush him to death. Cap is not that easy to defeat, and the battle rages on. Finally, the youki get roughed up, and Cap's body tumbles limply to the ground. Moonsault has heard that Earthlings have weird sexual aparatus, and one of her handmaidens is dispatched to seduce the boy (another was dispatched for not complying fast enough.) To heal her poor Youki, Moonsault inhales them back into her body. And Cap enters a dream world where he talks to General. General reminds the boy of the time when they first met, and tells Cap that it is determination and will power that allow a Spect Master to control the full abilities of a Specter. Camel arrives to fight Moonsault, and she demonstrates the very abilities that General is talking about. Camel actives rings J and M, and chops up the Youki (but, if Moonsault can inhale them again, the Youki never get completely destroyed.)

Moonsault recognizes Camel, but before we can find out what Camel was doing in her court, Cap recovers and insults Moonsault so badly (calling her a "tanishi momiage onna" -- a "woman with genital fungus for sideburns") that the Princess vows to create a special Youki just for killing the boy. These Youki are super-charged versions of the originals. Cap fights the Youki before retreating to recover from his wounds. He remembers how all of the Land Star children would bully him when he was younger, saying that it was only natural that Earthlings should be treated like garbage. Moonsault locates Cap, and claims that it is only natural that Earthlings be wiped out. Cap goes into a rage, triggering a flash of light. He is then revealed to have understood General's arguments -- the Spect Sword is now black and a lot more cool looking. Cap quickly disembowels the Youki, and marvels at his new strength.

Moonsault admits defeat and walks away. The rabbits hand over the Dragon Pearl as payment for getting Moonsault off their backs, and Cap grouses over how quickly Moonsault had given up (he LIKES fighting monsters...) The pearl is worth 1 billion dottsu, which makes Manji happy. However, Moonsault is waiting for the heroes when they reach the ramen shop. She has decided to join them, and to make Cap her pet. This enrages Camel, and she kicks the Princess into Manji, causing him to drop and break the pearl. Moonsault, Camel and Manji get into a brawl, and the narrator congratulates Cap on having the Princess join his group.

Chapter 6 Futatsu no Kakutantou
The Two Nuclear Warheads

(Note that the title for this chapter, "The Two Nuclear Warheads", refers to Moonsault and Camel.)
Three gangsters come into town, arguing over what to eat. The boss decides on ramen, so they go to the blimp and scare away the regular customers. Camel is waiting on the tables, and she gets sexually harassed by the 96'ers. Moonsault decides to deliver their orders, starts calling the boss "fatty", and then demanding that they pay for their uneaten meals. The gangsters turn into 20 foot tall ogres and plan on killing the insolent girl to teach her a lesson. Manji runs into the kitchen to tell Cap that there are monsters to fight, but when the boy gets on to the scene, Moonsault and Camel have already trashed them. Moonsault asks if "her" Captured had seen how strong she had been, triggering a fight between her and Camel. Cap hides in a corner, crying that his precious monsters had been defeated before he could touch them, and Manji tries to get the boy to stop the two girls before they destroy the ramen shop. But, it's too late and the blimp gets trashed again. The gangsters limp away, with the boss blaming the other two for choosing to eat ramen today.

Chapter 7a Kouki no Senshi (parts 1 - 3)
Warrior of Air

Later, Cap is just defeating a huge ugly monster that is protecting a treasure chest containing an "Arutema" necklace. Unfortunately, he accidently steps on the necklace and crushes it. Meanwhile, two goons are negotiating over some valuable data concerning how to defeat Standpeed (basically, it's something involving a woman named Lana Urakan on the Land Star "Haggu".) Unfortunately, Standpeed finds the goons and quickly kills them.

Back at the blimp, Cap tries to convince Manji that the necklace had been broken before he found it. Manji doesn't buy it, and confiscates 3 months salary from the boy. They start talking about Standpeed, and Manji claims to have gotten more info on the Phantom Dancer. In effect, he can become one with the air for evading attacks, and for increasing the pressure around an enemy's head to squish them to death. Cap doesn't understand a word of this, and refuses to believe that he doesn't have a chance of defeating this foe. At the same time, Camel and Moonsault are fighting again -- this time over the Princess' having demolished the cake that Camel spent 6 hours making (Cap intends to eat the cake anyway, but the garbage in it makes him change his mind.)

Moonsault goes outside the blimp and encounters Standpeed. The Dancer asks why the Princess has joined forces with Captured, instead of killing the Earthling as Mother had ordered. Standpeed won't believe anything Moonsault says and they end up fighting each other. The Youki have no effect against the Phantom Dancer, and eventually Moonsault falls off her demon turtle and lies stunned on the ground. Standpeed rips off her flimsy S&M outfit, and is about to kill her when Cap shows up (he'd been told about Standpeed by one of Moonsault's handmaidens, and he happily went to join the fight, still ignorant of this "air weapon" stuff.)

Cap thinks that Standpeed has to have at least one weakness, but Moonsault keeps undermining his confidence by saying that the Dancer is untouchable. Just before Standpeed can grab the boy by the head, Manji punches him out of the way. Manji has just received a new weapon by express mail, and he uses it to seal Standpeed inside a self-contracting metal dome. Manji thinks that he has the Mother Guard trapped now, but Standpeed just slips out through the solid dome. He uses his expanding sword to stab Manji in the shoulder as punishment, and then chases Cap around. Cap thinks that he has evaded the Dancer by jumping over a wall, but Standpeed stabs the boy through the wall, and then smashes the wall to grab Cap by the head.

In the blimp, Camel gets a message stating that Standpeed is actually two people. The Standpeed that they are fighting can not be defeated. But, the other Standpeed can be killed, which will do in the first Standpeed as well. The one to kill is called "Lana Urakan" on the western Land Star of Haggu. (The information broker claims that the info is worth 2,000,000 Dottsu, but because Camel is so cute, he'll chop the price down to 1,000,000 Dottsu.)

Manji locates a wireless mike and speaker set in his pocket, and then pleads for Moonsault to use her Youki for him. She refuses to do this, but then finally gives in. The demon snake carries the speaker in its mouth, and Manji yells into the microphone. Standpeed drops the boy -- his body may be like air, but his ears are still vulnerable. Camel arrives with the blimp and uses the rope ladder to air-lift Manji to safety. Standpeed claims that he will wipe the universe clean of the Earthling filth, which is close to what Cap has been called ever since he was a child. He vows to fight back, then grabs the rope ladder and flies away -- while yelling out "Baka baka baka" at the Dancer.

The heroes head for Haggu. Moonsault, remembering her treatment at the hands of the Dancer, promises to deliver her death sentence on him personally.
